am i able to come to the office to fill out an application for fasfa?
ReplyDeleteWe actually have a computer lab that is located in the rear of the financial aid office where you can find assistance in completing the FAFSA. If you would like to come into our office we can direct you to this computer lab. Please make sure to bring a copy of your 2008 tax returns and W2's.

when will i get my award letter in the mail
ReplyDeleteOnce you have completed a FAFSA application we should receive the electronic application within 3-4 business days. If we are able to complete your FAFSA we will package your financial aid and mail you an award letter in the mail. If we need additional information or if you were selected for verification, we will mail you a letter requesting this additional information. So, once you submit your FAFSA you should hear from us within 2 weeks. If you do not, please contact our office and we will determine what can be done to correct the issue.

I have a SC need based grant pending, this is the first time I have ever seen this on my account, if I qualify can I bring the portion of my student loan I dont use back. Also does these amounts include the summer semester of 2010, if not I probably should save the amount left. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWhen was the deadline for the Las Amigas scholarship?
ReplyDeleteWhere is the financial aid office? And is the deadline for the Las Amigas up?
ReplyDeleteHas the deadline already passed for the Las Amigas Scholarship? If not, which campus Financial Aid Office has the applications?
ReplyDeleteIf you are awarded the SCNBG, you may certainly bring back in a portion of your loans and allow us to cancel them for you. The SCNBG is only available for the Fall and Spring semesters, so I would advise to save the remaining portion to pay for your summer 2010 tuition.

The deadline for the Las Amigas scholarship was in May 2009, but because of the lack of applications, they are still accepting new applications!
ReplyDeleteI have some in my office if you are interested!
Our financial aid office is located in the Admissions and Registration Center in the old McAllister Square Mall on Pleasantburg Drive. There is a map available here:

I noticed they were still accepting applications for the Las Amigas Scholarship as of August 3rd. Today is August 11 & I was wondering if it is still available to apply.
ReplyDeleteI have not received word that they have stopped receiving applications so I would assume they would still accept new applications.
